Company Analysis – Bombora

Author: Randy Giusto

Date: January 22, 2020

Bombora’s meteoric rise in the B2B behavioral intent data space was due to an adept approach to data collection and packaging that made B2B purchase intent data more accessible to B2B marketers. Born originally as Madison Logic Data and then spun out, it quickly built its platform through its own organic efforts, not via M&A like other data providers in the greater Company, Contact & Personal Information space. Through its aggressive marketing and corporate development efforts, its data now flows through many of its partners’ products as well. This indirect approach often leads to future direct sales when those companies’ customers come back to Bombora looking for more specific audience segments and tools.

Outsell’s Company Analysis reports feature a matrix that analyzes and compares the company to competitors in its space based on company performance and company potential metrics. This matrix is the center point of the report. The approach and elements used to develop scores, outlined in the Company Ratings section of this report, along with briefings with the subject company and its competitors, help form the basis of our final analysis.
