Peter is responsible for providing consulting services to Outsell clients. Peter brings 30 years of proven leadership in data management, content strategy and content management with a vision for leveraging enabling technologies. He has extensive experience in the financial information services and publishing industries.
Most recently Peter was SVP and Chief Product Technology Officer at Wiley where he developed and executed the Wiley Publishing Platform. Previously Peter was the SVP for Platform and Information Strategy at Thomson Reuters where he created Content Marketplace, a master data management strategy across Finance & Risk, Legal and Scientific & Healthcare.
Peter is also active in relevant industry associations. He serves on the Advisory Board of WorkFusion, the board of directors of CrossRef, the board directors of the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the Box Digital Advisory Board, as well as the Advisory Board of the Stevens Alliance for Innovation and Leadership. In 2011, Peter was also selected by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to serve on its Subcommittee on Data Standardization.
