Jo is Outsell’s VP & Lead Analyst focused on the science, technology, medical and healthcare space. In this role, she researches and analyzes the ever-changing market trends, dynamics, and competitive landscape of today’s world of science and technology publishing, information solutions, and services. Jo has led Outsell’s coverage of the global standards publishing sector, serving as lead author of market reports covering this sector. She also designed, executed, and authored Outsell’s recent multi-client study focused on engineering end-users’ use of standards information in the US, UK, France, and Germany. Jo was previously Senior Consultant in Outsell’s global custom research and consulting services, leading, directing, and executing all aspects of custom projects across the media, information, and technology landscape to support clients in their drive for growing revenue and delivering successful and superior solutions by providing deep insights into their markets, competitors, and current opportunities. Jo has wide experience acting as a senior-level advisor and consultant to industry executives through her custom and consulting experience as well as managing and delivering a range of primary and secondary research methodologies.

Jo holds a 2:1 BA Honours in Modern and Medieval History from Royal Holloway College, University of London. She is also an affiliate member of the UK Market Research Society and holds the Advanced Certificate in Market and Social Research Practice.
