Bio

Aric has more than 20 years experience in the media & entertainment and information services & technology spaces. He is an expert in competitive and market intelligence with domain experience in information services, library markets and services, consumer packaged goods, and financial payments and services.

Currently, Aric is a consultant advising clients in the areas of corporate strategy and market/competitive intelligence where he most recently advised a leading manufacturer of unified communications equipment on a best-in-class strategic intelligence capability. Previously, Aric was a Director of Business Development & Strategy at EBSCO Information Services where he developed the organizations competitive intelligence capability and advised the executive team and business line leadership on strategic decisions including acquisition and partnership opportunities. Before EBSCO, Aric operated Cogitamus Consulting, a boutique consulting firm focused on competitive and market intelligence covering consumer packaged goods, payments products and services, and various manufacturing, industrial, and commodity verticals. In the 1990’s, Aric was a reissue and compilation producer for Verve Records.
