An education service provider was interested in conducting research to better understand demand and needs of online assessments at the state level. In addition, Eduventures compiled competitor profiles of vendors selected by the client.

• Is the purchase decision made at the state or district level and, if at the state level, are districts required to participate in online assessments?


• Do you see future investment in online assessments increasing, decreasing, or staying the same?

Methodology

For this custom inquiry, Eduventures first attempted to conducted phone interviews with state administrators. When unavailable, Eduventures conducted interviews with district administrators in that state. Results were compared by those implementing online assessments versus those not implementing online assessments.
