Hubspot throws down a gauntlet of pervasive ROI data and case studies as it sells direct to advertisers to help them go direct to prospects. Publishers need to counter this challenge with verifiable data showing that advertisers need to influence prospects everywhere they hang out, and that they do not ONLY hang out on search engines, and that prospects' actions on search results pages are influenced by the branding and familiarity publishers provide.
