Methodology

For this custom inquiry, Eduventures conducted a Web survey targeting relevant, high-ranking college and university officials. The e-mail invitation was sent to 6,500 officials between November 11 and December 6, 2006, and yielded 271 complete responses (4.2% completion rate) and 31 partial responses. Both complete and partial responses were used in analysis.
