Prior to OTTO, Jonathan was Director of eMarketing at DigitalGrit where he provided strategic direction and business intelligence on Search Engine Marketing for Fortune 500 clients including D&B, ADP, Sony and AutoNation as well as leading publishers like Consumer Reports.
From 2003-2005 Jonathan was a Senior Consultant and Analyst at Creative Good where he formed optimization, user experience and SEO strategies for clients including Washington Post, Newsweek, Slate, Hoover's.com, The Learning Company and Constant Contact.
Jonathan began his digital marketing career as Founder and CEO of VitaminLab.com from 1998 to 2004. Using SEO, affiliate and email marketing Jonathan bootstrapped the company into one of the top websites in the Vitamin and Nutrition industry. In 2003, after great success before and after the dot-com bubble, VitaminLab won the Nutrition Business Journal Award for 5-Year Growth.
Jonathan has delivered a wide variety of presentations at ad:tech, DMA Annual, DM Days, OMMA, and Shop.org and is a regular speaker at Search Engine Strategies.
