Apple, Google, MS, 3 others on board with mobile apps privacy mandate
February 24, 2012The accord, signed by Microsoft, Amazon, Apple, Google, Research in Motion and Hewlett-Packard, will mandate that mobile apps downloaded must provide detailed information on what personal data will be collected and how it will be used.
