Elsevier Announces Partnerships With IHS, Wood Mackenzie – Maps New Content Synergies, Creating Geographical Workflow
May 31, 2011Elsevier has developed Geofacets, a searchable web-based collection of geological maps and content sourced from its peer-reviewed earth sciences journals. It has also recently announced partnerships with IHS and Wood Mackenzie, leading information providers to the oil and gas industry. By combining these information resources, Elsevier’s cartographic interface becomes a powerful exploration tool integrating a variety of very different information resources in an end-user centric manner.
