A new behavioural targeting tool has been launched by Revenue Science, which allows online publishers to create their own audience segments and allow more targetted advertising. Audience Search is based on a natural language search engine, allowing publishers to enter the precise words from an advertising agency's proposal letter. It will then deliver specific audience segments based on those words, and search the publications' pages for incidences of those words. The Wall Street Journal Online is the first of Revenue Science's eight publishing partners to offer the service to advertisers.
