Datamonitor Merges Tech Research Units

Datamonitor is integrating its three technology research brands; Butler Group, Datamonitor Technology and Ovum, under the Ovum name on September 1, 2009. It will also launch two new research services. The new grouping will include more than 350 business analysts and 150 ICT analysts. The two new services are based on the firm’s existing Knowledge Center platform and will be known as Ovum Technology and Industries Knowledge Center and Ovum Enterprise IT Knowledge Center. Ovum says its existing Telecoms research service and all other Datamonitor Group business research services will remain unchanged.
