Renaissance Learning, Inc. Announces Second Quarter 2009 Results
July 16, 2009Renaissance Learning, Inc., a leading provider of technology to support personalized practice, differentiated instruction, and progress monitoring in reading, math, and writing for pre-K-12 schools and districts, today announced financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2009. Revenues for the second quarter of 2009 were $28.5 million, an increase of 1.5% from second quarter 2008 revenues of $28.0 million. Net income was $4.1 million, or $.14 per share, compared to net income of $3.3 million, or $.11 per share, for the second quarter last year.
