GfK expands and ramps up its German panel
July 7, 2009With the takeover of French company IFOP MUSIC, GfK Retail and Technology is expanding its network. In the sector Media, GfK has acquired a stake in Cypriot company Watch Media. In Germany, GfK is increasing the size of its panel from 20,000 to 30,000 households. As a result of a market concen-tration, GfK Switzerland is transferring surveys in the area of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) to The Nielsen Company, and focusing on non-food, custom research and media.
