Informa attracts interest from private equity groups

UK publisher and conference organiser Informa PLC is being circled by private equity groups, the Times reported. Carlyle and Apax are among those considering a bid for the group, which has a market capitalisation of 1.64 billion pounds. The paper said no approaches are understood to have been made.
