Institute of Physics (IOP)

Institute of Physics (IOP) is an international learned society and professional body for physicists, with a royal charter to promote the advancement and dissemination of knowledge and education in the science of pure and applied physics. IOP represents the physics community to government and other legislative or policy-making bodies and sets and supports professional standards and qualifications. Institute of Physics Publishing publishes physics journals, magazines, books and reference works.
