CEO Welcome
Greetings,
The start of a new year is often a time for reflection and resolution, for re-examining assumptions, for distilling what really matters. As a company, we spent time toward the end of 2010 discussing and defining our core purpose, and we emerged energized and excited as we continue to move forward. I'll share with you our vision statement:
At Outsell we believe that information and knowledge are fuel for the human spirit. They foster understanding, discovery, enjoyment, learning and commerce around the globe. We believe in a world where people always have access to the information they need, advancing their lives so they can advance the lives of others.
Our mission statement explains how we support our clients and all enterprises that make up the information industry in achieving this vision:
We help the world's publishers and information providers grow revenue, deliver superior solutions, optimize their clients' performance, and thrive in a fast-changing digital market. We advance the business of information as a company “that works” – for each other, our clients, our stakeholders, and our community.
In short, we offer solutions for different roles throughout the industry focused on improving business performance and increasing revenue – because that is how our industry will remain vital. We help you to help your clients, with the end goal of making information accessible to all those who will benefit from it. And we're committed to doing this by creating a “wow!” experience that achieves win-win-win for all involved.
Below you'll find details of our plans and activities this quarter. We're also working on our own product development and website redesign activities that will help us continue to deliver and delight as we fulfill our mission and vision. Enjoy the read, and please feel free to contact me or anyone on the Outsell team if we can be of service. Best wishes for a great start to 2011.

Anthea C. Stratigos,
Co-founder & CEO

"This is the era of … looking for revenue in all the right places (and) driving both company and industry growth – whether in publishing, data, information services, or information solutions – and that growth is increasingly harder to come by.
