Also, this Spring sees the integration of the Gilbane Group into Outsell as we develop new services that bring together holistic coverage of both content and technology. Advertising and Marketing Spending Studies: Essential for Planning

We’ve completed our fifth annual Ad Spending Study, following the money and answering key questions for publishers on what they need to know about their advertisers’ spending. By measuring both marketing and advertising spending, Outsell reveals the most comprehensive 360-degree view available of all the methods companies use to build and strengthen their brands and generate leads and new business. We’ve published two reports that are essential planning documents, available on our website for purchase or client download: Total US and B2B Advertising, and Total US and Consumer Advertising.

Gilbane Group Joins Outsell; San Francisco Conference Discount

New OLC for Consumer-Oriented Media and Publishing Companies
In response to market demand, we’re launching a new Outsell’s Leadership Council (OLC), a confidential, peer-to-peer membership service for C-suite executives with operating responsibilities in consumer publishing and media companies. It’s for leaders from non-competing book, magazine, and news organizations, as well as those involved in cable, entertainment, search, and mobile platforms and delivery. This is our fifth OLC; members in our other councils value the ability to network, share best practices, and learn from leaders in other sectors who have faced and solved issues in common. Planning continues for our fifth annual Outsell’s Signature Event, Sept. 29-Oct. 1, 2010, in Key Biscayne, Florida! One of the pillars of our Information Management Service is helping information managers assess and demonstrate to executives the value and ROI of what they do.
