Neighborhoods of the Information Industry

In tracking the Information Industry, we quickly saw opportunities for learning, sharing, convergence, and best practices. We also witnessed collision courses in motion. Our ability to see these opportunities and threats came from our broad definition of the industry and our understanding of its common elements.
But this expansive view sometimes wasn't recognized by others because they viewed the industry from their own space within it. Thus began our mission to articulate this reference guide to the neighborhoods of the information industry. In it, we share a total view of who's who, what's going on, how the different neighborhoods relate and get along (or not), and what that means for the industry's future success.
