Outsell's Expert Network Services Description
Outsell’s Expert Network is a select group of information industry experts from across the globe and all industry sectors, who collaborate with us to provide consulting and custom research and advisory solutions for our clients. Experts work with their peers and bring their deep knowledge to strategic projects that can make a difference and effect change in the information industry. Outsell’s Expert Network is invitation-only, with no membership fees.
Expert Responsibilities
- Participate in projects and/or lead projects as an independent contractor
- Network with other experts where appropriate
- Work in Outsell’s collaborative workspace for projects, networking, and confidential dialogue
- Participate in events and training as needed and appropriate
- Set billing rates with Outsell (Outsell handles client invoicing )
- Handle Outsell client inquiries as directed by Outsell
- Keep professional profile information current
- Contribute to Outsell's Expert Network News
Expert Network members have access to the following Outsell resources:
- Outsell's Insights
- Outsell reports, as appropriate
- Proprietary data assets about users, markets, and publishers/information providers
- Your name, photo, and brief professional profile on Outsell’s website
Signing Up
As a first step, Expert Network candidates write a 10-page report on a key topical issue in their area of expertise. We post the article on our website (for purchase, with a revenue-share agreement with you), and use this to launch you publicly into our network. Once this step is completed, members agree to:
- Sign and abide by the terms and conditions in Outsell's Expert Agreement
- Sign Outsell's Ethics & Integrity Policy
- Allow Outsell to share their professional profile with clients and other expert network members
- Coordinate all Expert Network consultations and projects through Outsell
- Perform as independent contributors
- Contribute short articles to Outsell’s Expert Network News at least six times per year
- Participate in an Outsell panel by responding to short surveys
