K-12 Solutions Learning Markets... Opportunities
The 2004-05 academic year proved to be one characterized by continued state, district, and school spending in assessment, tutoring and test preparation, and outsourced school administration services. NCLB continued to define spending patterns nationwide, with supplemental education services and school-restructuring provisions continuing to come on line for failing schools.
Overall supplier revenues in the 2004-05 academic year amounted to $21.9 billion, up 6.0% over the previous year. Eduventures expects that revenues will rise at a similar pace through the 2008-09 school year, at which point the sector will total more than $28.0 billion.
K-12 Solutions Learning Markets & Opportunities provides a high-level perspective on market size, key trends, and forecasts for each of the nine markets in Eduventures’ K-12 taxonomy. In addition, this year’s edition deepens coverage of policy and public financing issues driving change in each market.
