You’ll exceed annual quotas and view anything less as beneath you. You will generate leads, build relationships, listen more than you talk, identify and qualify prospects, and present and close business.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, qualify, and close new subscription and custom business opportunities and build a base pipeline that allows you to exceed your sales plan.
- Work with Outsell’s Lead Analysts to build the business in your assignment while renewing all existing accounts in your assignment to exceed 85%.
- Use internal CRM database to log customer contact and prospecting activities.
- Travel required monthly, both internationally and domestically.
- Must exceed quota.
Qualifications and Experience
- 10+ years of professional business development experience including at least 3 selling to senior-level executives. Software, professional service, or information services experience preferred.
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required.
- Able to effectively sell to multiple levels in an organization, from Director to President/CEO.
- Must demonstrate excellent writing, oral communication, analytic, project management and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed quota. Candidates will be required to demonstrate year over year sales overachievement.
- A self-starter with exceptional organizational skills and superior attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-moving virtual organization is essential.
