As Vice President & Lead Analyst, Mark leads Outsell's analytic coverage and advisory services in the Scientific, Technical & Medical (STM) publishing and information markets. In this role he tracks and analyses market trends in the STM information landscape, including healthcare information and IT, covering both the established and disruptive companies. He is interested in the evolving business/funding models in the sector, understanding the research and clinical workflows, and the increasing role of data in STM research and related opportunities for data mining/extraction and semantic technologies. He also serves as an executive-level advisor and consultant to clients on issues impacting all aspects of this market.
