In his capacity as Affiliate Analyst, Ken Doctor leads Outsell's analysis and research of news publishing, focusing on legacy print news publishers creating digital products, fast-moving news start-ups, and the technology companies serving both. He serves as an executive-level analyst and consultant to a range of Outsell clients, providing company-specific advisory services that encompass the following areas: impacts of news usage trend change; tailoring of new products for new platforms; competitive scans; and the creation and revision of business models in the news sector to meet the changing landscape. He’s the author of "Newsonomics," a handbook for the Digital News Decade, and publisher of Newsonomics.com.
