Jo McShea, Manager, Custom Research and Consulting Services

As Manager of Outsell’s dedicated global custom research and consulting team, Jo McShea leads the company’s custom research and consultancy business for publishers and information providers. She is responsible for designing, planning, and resourcing bespoke research projects, preparing tenders and proposals, and managing research operations. She also has experience managing and delivering a range of research methodologies including in-depth face-to-face and telephone interviewing, product concept testing, acquisitions research, competitor and market analysis research, and desk research. Jo has also contributed to a wide range of research and consultancy projects, with a particular focus on those within the educational publishing space, undertaking both consultant and analyst assignments.

Education

Jo holds a 2:1 BA Honours in Modern and Medieval History from Royal Holloway College, University of London. Jo is also an Affiliate member of the UK Market Research Society and holds the Advanced Certificate in Market and Social Research Practice.
